Grover Morrow

Grover Eugene Morrow, 77, of New Bloomfield, Mo., passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo.
Grover was born on December 8, 1947 in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Joseph and Maxine (Parrish) Morrow, who preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves.
On April 3, 1993 in New Bloomfield, Mo., he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Hayman.
Grover was a graduate of Jefferson City High School in 1964.
He was a faithful and lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, Mo. where he enjoyed being an audio technician.
He retired from Durham Public School Bus in New Bloomfield School District as a bus driver and bus dispatcher.
He enjoyed visiting with family and friends on Facebook, sitting by his pond and feeding his catfish, spending time outdoors and mowing his yard. His was extremely proud of his children, especially his grandchildren and will be missed by family and friends.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Anna Morrow of the home; one son, Scott Morrow of Clarksburg, Mo.; one daughter, Jennifer Simpson (Fred) of Camdenton, Mo.; one brother, Michael Morrow (Elizabeth) of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Taylor Mitchem (Darrian) of Columbia, Mo., Todd Simpson of Camdenton, Mo. and Griffin Simpson of Camdenton, Mo.O; one great-granddaughter, McKenna Mitchem; two step-children, Kevin Atwell (Jeni) of Galesburg, Ill. and Samantha Crisp (Brian) of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; six step-grandchildren, Savannah Crisp (Bob) of Granite City, Ill., Joshua Crisp (Madi) of Lebanon, Mo., Dalton Crisp (Kaitlyn) of Union, Mo., Nathaniel Atwell of Texas, Connor Atwell of Little Rock, Ark., Katie Brynn Atwell of Rockford, Ill.; five step great-grandchildren; one nephew and three nieces.
Graveside service with full military honors will be on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in New Bloomfield, Mo. with Rev Jim Shaver officiating.
