JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- On Saturday, the Westminster College men's tennis team traveled to Jacksonville, Illinois, for its first road match, partaking in a tri-match against Illinois College and Webster University.
The Blue Jays took a point off the Gorloks but lost the match 8-1. They also lost 9-0 to the Blue Boys.
Cooper Pennington and John Stannard won No. 1 doubles 8-6 for their second win of the season as a duo against the Gorloks.
The Blue Jays will return on April 6 when they travel to Webster Groves to take on Webster University and Southwest Illinois College.
